1. The Principal/Members of Hostel Committee will inspect the hostel frequently.

2. A hosteller may be expelled from the hostel if she stays away from the hostel without permission or is negligent in studies or is found guilty or misconduct.

3. The use of any kind of electrical appliances like heaters, rod, iron or stove etc. is not allowed in the hostel. Disciplinary action will be taken against the defaulters.

4. All reports of thefts etc. (if any) should be reported in writing to the Warden immediately. The residents are advised to keep their belongings locked. They will not keep expensive jewellery or cash exceeding Rs. 1000/- with them.

5. Shouting, hooting, violent knocking or any other act, movement or behavior that is likely to cause disturbance is strictly prohibited. There shall be no loud discussion or chatting in the verandahs at any hour of the day or night.

6. An order of Principal or the Warden conveyed through the peon shall immediately be obeyed.

7. No hosteller shall leave the Hostel without personally handling over the charge of the furniture to the Hostel Warden.

8. Hostellers shall present themselves in person for daily Roll Call/Attendance at 8:00 p.m.

9. No Non-vegetarian food is served or is allowed to be brought in, cooked or eaten in the boarding house.

10. Servants shall not be encouraged to enter the student’s room, nor shall they be asked by hostellers to run private errands for them.

11. The resident-students are expected to dress simply and modestly in keeping with the long standing tradition of the college. Wearing of heavy jewellery and the use of cosmetics are also not permitted. They have to follow the ideal of SIMPLE LIVING AND HIGH THINKING.

12. Father/Guardian of the student should also complete visitor’s Register at the time of arrival in the Hostel. No visitor is allowed without identity card.

13. For proper democratic functioning of the hostel, several committees such as Common Room Committee, Mess Committee, Canteen Committee etc. will be formed.

14. Ragging is strictly prohibited.

15. Hostlers shall present themselves for a regular medical check up on every Wednesday and for which purpose a qualified lady medical doctor has been deputed to visit hostel fortnightly.

16. When a student joins the hostel, the Father/Guardian shall submit in the office personally or by post a list of visitors who may be permitted to visit his ward in hostel and whom shae may visits at their houses. Only three visitors including parents and local guardians are allowed.

Photographs of all visitors must also be supplied duly authenticated by the Father/Guardian.
