D.M. College of Education, Moga follows the following guidelines for the redressal of grievances
1. Each grievance shall be addressed by the relevant grievance redressal committee with in a period of 30 days of receipt of grievance.
2. A clear procedure should be outlined for addressing grievances.
3. The grievance redressal mechanism should ensure confidentially and anonymity of the complaints.
Procedure for lodging complaints
1. The students may feel free to put up a grievance in writing and drop it in box.
2. The grievance cell will act upon those cases which have been forwarded along with necessary documents.
3. Students can register their complaints through E-mail also.

Composition of Cell
The cell consists of the following members-
1. Dr. Rajni Uppal
2. Mr. Pankaj Chhabra
3. Mrs. Monika Singal
* All the members are impartial and unbiased.
Functions of the Cell
1. To maintain records of grievances received from students, parents and staff.
2. To resolve the grievance in a fair and impartial manner.
3. To provide a platform for appeal against decisions of the cell.
4. To maintain confidentiality of the identity of complainant.
Procedure for filing a grievance
1. The complainant should submit a complaint in written.
2. The cell will gather all relevant information related to the complaint.
3. The cell will provide equal opportunity to complainant as well as respondent to present their case.
4. The cell will maintain a record of all complaints and relevant investigations.
Resolution of grievances
1. The cell will provide a written response to the complainant.
2. The response will be properly signed with date by all members of the grievance cell.
3. The cell will ensure that the resolution is implemented.
4. The cell will prepare and preserve the record of resolution and follow-up actions.
Appeal Procedure
1. Both the complainant and respondent can appeal against the decision of the cell.
2. The appeal should be submitted in written to the cell with all the necessary and relevant details.
3. The cell should acknowledge receipt of the appeal and provide a reference numbers.
4. The appeal should be investigated by higher authority.
Confidentiality and Anonymity
1. The cell should maintain confidentiality and anonymity of the complainant.
2. The cell should ensure that the complainant is not discriminated against.
3. The cell should provide a safe and secure environment for the complainant to report grievance.

2. To support and guide research projects and publications
3. To facilitate funding opportunities from government and private organizations.
4. To collaborate with other institutions for research based learning
5. To maintain academic integrity and ethics in research

1. Encouraging research initiatives
2. Funding and grant assistance
3. Organizing workshops/ seminars
4. Journal and conference support (Support publications)
5. Establishing research collaborations with other institutions (Collaboration & MOUS)

2.Provide support and counseling to victims of sexual harassment.
3.Create awareness about sexual harassment through workshops and seminars.
4.Conduct fair and impartial investigations and recommend actions.
Procedure for filing a grievance
1.Complaint should be written and submitted to cell members.
2.Initial enquiry should be done to determine validity of complaint.
3.The cell will gather all relevant information related to the complaint.
4.The cell will provide equal Opportunities to complainant as well as respondent to present their case.
Resolution
1.The cell will Conduct initial inquiry to determine validity.
2.The cell will Conduct formal investigation for gathering evidence.
3.The cell will Submit findings and recommendations.
4.Both the complainant and respondent have the right to challenge the cell’s decision through an application to principal.
5.The appeal process should remain fair, unbiased, and conclude within a reasonable time frame.
Awareness and Prevention
1.The cell must conduct regular workshops, sensitization programs, and gender equality training.
2.The cell should organize orientation sessions for students and staff about their rights and responsibilities.
3.The cell should clearly display harassment policies and reporting procedures on the institution's website.
Confidentiality and Anonymity
1.The cell should ensure to keep identity of the complainant, respondent, and witnesses confidential.
2.Only authorized personnel should have access to case files and information.
3.The cell should ensure that complaints, respondents and witnesses are not suggested to retaliation.
4.The cell must take strict measures to prevent unauthorized disclosure of information.
