Students are advised to maintain silence and smoking is strictly forbidden in Library.

No books will be issued prior to accessioning, classification and cataloguing process.

The books are marked as reference (Encyclopedia, Dictionaries, Thesis, Periodical etc) are not for issue; these can be consulted in the library.

Only three books will be issued at a time and further issue may be discontinued in the case of non-return of book or non-payment of fine.

If a borrower wants a book, which is already issued to someone else, he/she will fill a slip for his/her reservation and leave it with librarian who will inform the demanding person when the book is returned in the Library.

It is the responsibility of a borrower to ensure that book(s) returned by him/her are recorded in the issue register. To avoid loss/dispute, the borrowers are normally advised to return the book themselves and not through others.

If a book is lost, damaged, marked, torn out or mistreated, the borrower will be liable to pay its double price at the present market rate or as decided by the Authorities.

In the case of non-return of book(s) within the stipulated period, the follow-up notice will be issued on an overdue action may be taken against such defaulter.

The books are liable to return even before the due date, if required for some special purpose / checking or inventory etc.
